When you make changes to a live campaign, such as adjusting targeting, creative, or budget, your ads are automatically paused for a short review period.
This review ensures that your updated ads still meet advertising standards before they’re reactivated. During this time, delivery temporarily stops, which can cause a short-term dip in performance or spend.
Once the review is complete (usually within 24 hours), your ads will resume as normal. The system then redistributes spend over the following days to balance out any unspent budget, so performance typically stabilises quickly.
To avoid these temporary dips, it’s best to finalise your targeting and creative before launching and avoid any changes wherever possible.
